Terms of use and community rules

These terms apply when you use Daily Vitals, run by the IHLN (India Healthcare Leaders Network) team ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Not medical advice

Daily Vitals shares healthcare news and discussion for professionals. Nothing in the app, including stories, summaries, posts and comments, is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Always rely on a qualified professional and your own clinical judgment. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

News and summaries

Stories link to their original source, and headlines are shown as published by that source. Some cards include a short summary written with the help of AI and approved by our team. We work to keep them accurate, but they may contain errors. Please check the original source before acting on anything, and use "Report an error" to tell us about mistakes.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give accurate information, including your real name and role.
• Only ask for a doctor or student tick if it is true. We may remove ticks or accounts that use false details.
• You are responsible for what you post from your account.

Community rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. Do not post or send anything that is:

• abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexual or violent;
• false or misleading health information, or medical claims presented as fact without evidence;
• a patient's identifiable information, or anyone's private details without their permission;
• spam, advertising or self-promotion that is not relevant to the discussion;
• illegal, or something that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
• pretending to be another person or organisation.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report any post or comment and block any member from their profile. New posts are reviewed before they appear. We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules, normally within 24 hours, and we may suspend or remove the accounts of members who post it.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to show it in Daily Vitals and to share links to it. If you delete your account, your posts and comments are deleted with it.

Changes and ending

We may change the app or these terms. If the change is important we will tell you in the app. You can stop using Daily Vitals and delete your account at any time.

Liability

Daily Vitals is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions made based on content in the app, or for content posted by members or published by third-party sources.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
